The mole-scarer operation principle:
Batteries are inserted into the device capsule. After screwing the cap (in 1-2 minutes) the device is switched on. Every 30 seconds the mole-scarer produces sound signals of low frequency (in 400-1000 Hz range) and vibration. In operating condition the device is to be dug into the ground, the soil near the device must then be tamped. In a dense ground the mole-scarer activity is spread to an area of 560 sq.m (23.5 m in diameter). One set of batteries is sufficient for a month of uninterrupted operation of the device.
